Wealth management firm Saltus has partnered with financial planning software firm FinCalc to digitise its client onboarding system.

The partnership aims to help Saltus advisers become more efficient throughout the client review process with a “unified solution” to minimise extensive data entry.

FinCalc has developed an integrated digital fact find from the Saltus bespoke client portal.

This eliminates the need for redundant data entry, allowing the quick transmission of client information directly into Saltus's CRM system, Curo by Time4Advice.

FinCalc will also provide an array of financial planning tools, including cashflow modelling, retirement modelling, inheritance tax planning, and a suite of financial calculators.

Jon Macintosh, managing partner of Saltus Partners, said: “Digitising our onboarding journey is a key component of our strategy for increasing the scalability and  efficiency of our financial planning operations, as well as expanding the technological capabilities of the Saltus Platform.

“Through our partnership with FinCalc, we have been able to build a solution that integrates seamlessly with our in-house technology to avoid the need for re-keying of information by administrators,  whilst providing a smoother journey for clients and advisers to achieve the best financial planning  outcomes.”

Jason Wykes, chief executive at FinCalc, said the partnership showed how far the firm has come since launching three years ago.

“Our core FinCalc system, alongside custom development work for Saltus, ensures that their advisers have systems that communicate with each other, not only to save valuable time but to provide a smooth client journey,” he added.
