Clearly there is much being done to challenge stigma, raise awareness and develop more understanding and appreciation of neurodiversity. Having neurodiverse colleagues in the workplace is central to that.

There is increasing knowledge and appreciation that diverse workplaces are beneficial to everyone, and that diversity including neurodiversity, when the environment is right, is a great aide to business success and colleague wellbeing. 

Hamilton concludes: “Understanding and celebrating the diversity within our business helps us all to benefit from varied experiences, different knowledge and new ways of thinking – things that are hugely important to our success. Conversations on diversity also help dispel negative stereotypes and personal bias, helping everyone to bring their full selves to work.”
