Delegates were in fact asked to put their hands up if they felt they would have a better relationship with the FCA going forward and only a handful of people kept theirs down. That’s got to be a sign of good things to come.
Overall there was a better buzz in the room with a more positive vibe coming from advisers as they got to ask the FCA their burning questions and got to do it face-to-face.
Does this indicate a better working relationship with the FCA going forward? I sure hope so as we have a lot of reviews and consultations to get through in the coming year!
