Quilter Financial Planning has added two appointed representative firms to its financial advice network.

The first of these appointed firms was Sports Media and Entertainment Wealth Management, a newly formed business led by former Coutts’ chartered wealth manager, Obinna Ikedife.

The business specialises in providing “bespoke and comprehensive” wealth advice for high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients across the sports, media and entertainment sectors.

Ikedife, the firm’s principal, said: “We chose Quilter because of their strong reputation and their comprehensive range of support.

“Helping sports and entertainment clients with their financial planning is a true passion of mine as they have unique and complex needs, and benefit hugely from advice.”

In addition, Holroyd Wealth Management will also join Quilter Financial Planning as a strategic partner.

The firm is based in North Somerset and Bristol and consists of principal and charted financial planner, Anthony Holroyd, who was previously a wealth manager at HSBC.

The firm provides investment, retirement and protection advice.

Holroyd stated: “Having worked in the advice industry for over two decades I am thrilled to be starting my own firm and help provide quality financial planning to my clients in the South West and beyond.”

Commenting on both appointments, Quilter Financial Planning managing director, Stephen Fryett, said that both Ikedife and Holroyd have “big ambitions” to grow their respective businesses.

He added that they both “share our commitment” to delivering high-quality advice and service to their clients and that “we look forward to supporting their growth and development with Quilter Financial Planning”.
