Sesame Network and PMS Mortgage Club, part of the Sesame Bankhall Group, has partnered with HSBC Life (UK) to grow its protection offering.

The partnership will “enhance” the group’s protection offering for advisers by providing its members with access to HSBC Life (UK)’s full suite of life and critical illness products.

HSBC Life (UK) aims to use digital automation to deliver instant underwriting and a more straightforward experience for advisers and their customers.

Added-value services include second medical opinions, digital GP appointments and prescription services, physiotherapy, annual health MOTs and mental health support.

Children’s critical illness cover is also included at no extra cost.

Sesame Bankhall Group strategic relationships director, Stephanie Charman, said: “Today’s news demonstrates our commitment to working with partners that help us drive greater choice, innovation, and efficiency for our members.

“HSBC Life (UK) is a well-known brand that’s established a strong reputation for delivering high-quality protection products.”

Charman added that the HSBC Life (UK) team has worked hard on both the strength of its offering and making the whole application process as simple as possible for advisers and their clients.

She described these as “key credentials” that the group looks for in the current market and regulatory environment.

Additionally, HSBC Life (UK) chief executive officer, Mark Hussein, said he looks forward to providing the group’s advisers and clients with access to an even greater choice of protection services, including its “innovative” life and critical illness protection products.

The addition of HSBC Life (UK) to the Sesame and PMS protection offerings means that members can now choose protection products from 16 of the UK’s leading providers.
