NextGen Planners broadens adviser support with new tech lab
The new tech lab from NextGen Planners will help advisers get on top of latest tech developments, says Rohan Sivajoti.

NextGen Planners has launched a TechStack Innovation Lab to help financial planners get to grips with the latest fintech developments.

According to Rohan Sivajoti, director and head of partnerships at NextGen Planners, the goal is to bring fintech experts on board to help financial planners understand and implement technology to improve efficiency and streamline processes.

He said the Lab will launch with "nine TechStack Avengers" - not so much caped crusaders as experts in fields such as change management, technology, processes, back office and AI.

Sivajoti said: "The goal is to create a collaborative space aimed at fostering synergy between the financial planning community and cutting-edge FinTech developments."

The nine TechStack Avengers are:

  • David Davies - Strategy & Tech Hero
  • Jo Faith – User experience (UX) & Copywriting Hero
  • Harriet Davis – Change Management Hero
  • Katie Cirjak – Processes Hero
  • Sarah Challenor – Back Office Hero
  • Rohit Vaish – Artificial Intelligence Hero
  • Amal Jolly – Artificial Intelligence Hero
  • Nicky Sevel – Data & API Hero
  • Clare Delaney – Workflows Hero

According to Sivajoti, the TechStack Avengers bring a wealth of perspectives and experiences to the table, ensuring a comprehensive approach to addressing the needs of the financial planning.

He said: "This collaborative space is where professionals from both the financial planning and FinTech sectors can come together to exchange ideas, learn from one another, and leverage the latest technological innovations."

He added: "Our goal is to empower individuals and organisations with the knowledge and tools they need to thrive in an increasingly digital landscape. Much like the in Marvel cinematic universe, the team all have unique skills that, together form a crack team of voices for our community to lean on."

Immediate entry to this will be available through a nominal £1 payment on the platform. 

In conjunction with the launch, a content plan has been developed to provide users with insights, resources, and educational materials.
