If I were not an adviser, I think I would like to have been a chef, and she has set a tough bar as she is a gluten-free vegan.

Fortunately, my Moroccan spiced veg mix is well received. We also speak about her investments.

My client meetings are always focused on the person – their physical and mental wellbeing.

No workout for me today as it is a rest day. My wife has finished work, so we take our son to his favourite burger place. We also crack the bottle open. It is not a school night, so it is allowed.

Victor Sacks is independent financial adviser at VS Associates
