Introduction
For the first time since 2010, a Labour chancellor will deliver a Budget.
Rachel Reeves faces plenty of tough choices. She has promised not to increase income tax, VAT or national insurance but her party has also pledged to increase investment in public services and confront a £20bn "black hole" in the public finances.
The Labour party's pledges on tax mean there has been plenty of speculation about where it will look to raise revenue, including inheritance tax, capital gains tax and pensions.
