Tayler previously spent a decade at Quilter Cheviot as an executive director, and prior to that was investment director at Cheviot Asset Management.

Oakglen Wealth is independently owned, and is part of Oakglen Group.

Jamie Crawford, head of wealth management at Oakglen Group, said: “[Tayler’s] extensive experience over 30 years in wealth management will be invaluable to our clients and his appointment is a testament to our commitment to providing the best service possible.

“We are confident that he will be instrumental in driving the growth of our UK business.”

Tayler added: “The company’s investment in its platform and technology is a clear advantage in this highly competitive market as it provides greater flexibility for clients in how they access and interact with their portfolios.

“The company understands the importance of engaging with clients and has built a strong reputation for delivering bespoke solutions for its clients in Jersey.”
