Investors warned over stickier than expected inflation

The majority (72 per cent) believe active investing will outperform passive this year, with 80 per cent saying active management is necessary to find alpha during a recession.

There has been a marked drop in the number of fund managers expecting a recession, with the BoA’s survey showing those anticipating a downturn globally has dropped from 77 per cent last November to 24 per cent this month.
