A discretionary fund manager has been launched as part of a partnership between three companies.

Eden Park Investment Management, part of the Clifton Asset Management Group, has partnered with Charles Stanley and SS&C Hubwise to create a new DFM service.

Charles Stanley will manage the portfolios, across four risk categories, which will sit on Eden Park Investment Management’s EPIM platform, powered by SS&C’s investment platform Hubwise.

In a statement today (February 6), Clifton said the launch will provide direct access to a bespoke DFM for firms with complex clients looking to join the group.

The DFM comes after Clifton acquired three financial management firms as a result of funding from Boost & Co, an independent asset management firm.

Chief executive of Eden Park IM, Anthony Carty, said the move is an important step in the company’s growth.

“This is a very exciting time for Eden Park and our partners, as we continue to innovate,” he said.

Dan James, head of asset management at Charles Stanley, said: “Built to deliver consistent outcomes, our tailored service provides clients with portfolios constructed in line with central views on asset allocation and stock selection, whilst also accommodating certain client-specific requirements.”

Clifton Asset Management launched Eden Park IM in 2019 as a partnership between Charles Stanley and Brewin Dolphin to provide DFM services to advisers.

It offers two ranges, one managed by Charles Stanley and the other by Brewin Dolphin, with the former using a passive approach and the latter actively picking holdings.
