AB: One area I consider important and encourage is women supporting women through mentoring and sponsorship.

I have found this helpful in my own career journey and now act as a mentor to others in the hope that I can share my own experiences.

These relationships can provide guidance and support to help women navigate their professional journeys and overcome any barriers or challenges they may face.

In order to continue moving forward with momentum, the industry must prioritise training and up-skilling its workforce, with a focus on unconscious bias training and ongoing professional development.

We need to continue to create inclusive environments where women of all ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds feel confident and valued.

Building meaningful relationships with female clients is crucial, as women who inherit significant wealth are likely to transfer to different advisers if they don't feel a connection.

By being conscious of how we communicate with female clients and including them in wealth discussions, we can foster trust and loyalty.

Ultimately, the goal is to ensure that our teams are as diverse as the clients we serve, reflecting the future landscape of wealth ownership.
