During her time at Openwork, the firm said she has played a key role in evolving the partnership development model.

In her new role, she will be responsible for the leadership of 2plan, and will report to Stuart Dodson, managing director of The Openwork Partnership.

She said: “I am really excited to be joining a very successful business such as 2plan, a business that has gone from start-up status to one of the largest IFA firms in the UK.

“Having been at the Openwork Partnership for over seven years, working alongside our members and the leadership team is a great example of how collaboration can add real value to our advisers, colleagues and ultimately our customers. “

Launched in 2007, 2plan has provided administration, technology, and regulatory support to financial advisers around the country.

The firm said moving forward, the plan is for 2plan to work much closer with the Openwork Partnership to ensure advisers and customers are better served.

Limon will take over from Chris Smallwood who has announced his retirement from 2plan.

She will work with Smallwood to ensure a smooth transition and will pick up the reins from April 2024.

Meanwhile, further changes at 2plan saw the appointment of Philip Howell as executive chairperson replacing Pete Davis who will remain on the board for continuity.

Howell will take up this position over the coming months, in addition to his role as executive chairperson at The Openwork Partnership.

It comes as last summer, Tenet announced it would close its network, with its appointed representatives moving to The Openwork Partnership as part of an exclusive agreement with the company.

The agreement provided Tenet's firms and advisers the choice of retaining their independent status through Openwork's IFA business 2plan Wealth Management or becoming part of the restricted Openwork proposition.
