Apollo Private Wealth has hired Kenton Wallace as head of wealth management to expand the business.
Wallace will oversee wealth management, strategy and transformation to grow the firm’s financial advice business.
Apollo Private Wealth is one of St James’s Place partner practices and focuses on high-net-worth private clients.
Wallace joins the firm from HSBC Private Bank where he was director of global product governance.
He has also worked for HSBC Wealth Management in various roles spanning nearly 17 years.
Nauman Gondal, chief executive and founder of Apollo said this appointment has come at "an important time" for the firm as it looks to scale the advice business.
In April 2023 the firm bought fellow SJP firm Debra Wait Wealth Management for an undisclosed sum.
