He has also provided advisory services to firms including PwC and Accenture.

Jonathan Polin, CEO of Atomos, said: "We are thrilled that Jon will chair our board.

“Jon combines his experience of running businesses with extensive experience in change management and digital transformation; as such he is well positioned to help steer and improve our business in all aspect of its performance.”

Taylor takes over from Alison Endemano, who held the role of chairperson since Oaktree Capital Management invested in the firm in May 2022.

Atomos announced its rebrand from Sanlam Wealth last July and completed the change in September.

Taylor said: “I am very pleased to chair Atomos at this crucial stage of the business’ development. The Atomos team has already achieved a huge amount in less than a year.

“We are excited to continue to transform Atomos to ensure clients can access a personalised face-to-face service, combined with the convenience and access to modern digital tools and a range of high-quality investment solutions.”

Polin added: “I would also like to say a very big thank you to Alison for all her work and support over the last year.

“Chairing the board of a newly acquired business such as ours is a difficult and multifaceted job, and Alison was quick to get to grips with the challenges we faced as we have set about transforming the business.”
